Dr. Josh Munson

Dr. Josh Munson is a native North Carolinian who grew up in Reidsville, NC. Upon graduating from his Oral Surgery specialty training, he knew he wanted to practice and raise his family in North Carolina. While helping underserved adults and children with dental care on the mission trip, Dr. Munson met and worked alongside Dr. Neuwirth. The shared passion for helping and serving others was an excellent fit for Dr. Munson to team up with Drs. Brown and Neuwirth. Dr. Munson is eager to share his expertise and empathy with Hickory, Morganton, and Statesville patients.

Dr. Munson attended UNC Chapel Hill for undergraduate studies and UNC School of Dentistry for dental school. He then completed medical school, internship, and oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Munson has special interests in dental implants, corrective jaw surgery, pathology, and facial trauma.

Dr. Munson is delighted to live and practice in central North Carolina. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two young boys. He also enjoys exercising, golfing, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Munson looks forward to giving back to other communities on mission trips outside the country.
